| About this video: Stephen Perkins Drum Solo In Studio Stephen Perkins was born in Los Angeles in 1967. He began playing drums at 8 years old. At 13, he bought his first professional drum kit - a5 piece Ludwig with Zildjian cymbals. Live sessions and performances include: Rage Against The Machine, No Doubt, NIN, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jerry Cantral, Rancid, Jewel, Shery Crow, Rob Wasserman, Peter Murphy, Class Of 99’, Love And Rockets, Camp Freddy, Hell Ride, No Material, many Drum Clinics and Music Therapy Sessions. The music therapy drum circles have opened up new doors for a percussion instrument first used only for drummers. GO – JO BAGS are an instrument invented by Stephen Perkins and Joey Klaparda which are now being used in music therapy sessions around the world. |
